The Units

This section deals with the different units that were stationed at Ft. Stanton. First, though, here is a unit matrix that a Ft. Stanton bookstore volunteer made a few years ago; then followed by a Travel Journal covering a trip from the Missouri River to Ft. Stanton 1855. (It's quite lengthy but as nears the Fort it gets interesting, see May 22, 1856.) Then the final group, the Unit Histories; most of them are vintage reports.
